Festival Activities: July 16

All events free and take place/start in the Point Park off Wheatly Street in Sydenham.

Walk History

9am to noon

The Historic Sydenham Outdoor Escape Adventure is a self-guided walk around Sydenham to solve the mystery of the missing body. Any-time start 8:30am to 12 noon.

Natural Heritage Expo

9am to 1pm

A showcase with booths, displays, maps, and people to talk with about South Frontenac’s natural wonders: what they are, how to enjoy them, and how to improve them.

Cycling

(Exact time for rides to come in mid-June- both guided)

Family Cycle – 8k on an off-road trail beside Sydenham Lake.

Around-the-Lake Cycle – 21k on trials and quiet country roads.

Tune-up clinic – Professional bike mechanics from Cycle Kingston will tune-up your bike – suggested donation $30 to support Gear-Up, a social enterprise for at-risk youth.

Anytime, self -supervised near by activities: swimming at the Point; walking the Cataraqui, Rideau and K+P trials, Frontenac Park, and Gould Lake Conservation Area;  cycling trails and quite country roads (maps available).

Come out, be active and enjoy our lakes, trails and history.
